Arno Lippert came to Ibiza in 1995 and made the island his home. His professional roots lie in gastronomy and hospitality. After his training and further qualification as a state-certified business economist specialising in the hotel and catering industry, he gained further experience in gastronomy, hotels and tourism.

As a board member of AVAT, the association of holiday rental providers on Ibiza and Formentera, he is committed to legal, transparent and high-quality holiday rentals on the islands.

In 1997 the idea of his own holiday home agency on Ibiza was born. From the very beginning, the goal was not simply to offer guests any accommodation, but personally known holiday homes, fincas and villas that suit each guest and their idea of Ibiza.

In 1999 Arno Lippert founded Ibiza Haus® and began arranging holiday homes on the island. What started with just a few properties and cooperation with local partners grew steadily through personal recommendations and returning guests.

The first Ibiza Haus® website went online as early as 2000. At a time when holiday homes were still mostly booked through catalogues, advertisements and travel agencies, Ibiza Haus embraced the internet early on - and with it, direct contact between guests, agency and owners.

Today, Ibiza Haus® stands for more than 25 years of experience in holiday rentals on Ibiza. Arno Lippert and his team know the properties on offer personally and look after guests and owners directly on the island. Personal advice, transparent service and long-standing relationships with local owners remain the foundation of the company to this day.

The philosophy has stayed the same since 1999: not simply to sell Ibiza as a destination, but to offer guests a home away from home and a personal connection to the island.

We live and work on Ibiza and know the island not only as a destination, but as our home. We are happy to share this knowledge with our guests - from choosing the right holiday home to personal recommendations for restaurants, beaches, excursions and special places off the usual tourist trail.

Over many years, we have built up a network of owners, service providers and local partners we can call on whenever needed. Instead of anonymous booking, we rely on direct contact and personal support.

Our aim is simple: On Ibiza, you shouldn’t just feel like a guest - you should feel well looked after from day one.

A meeting that changed everything

In 1997, the story of Ibiza Haus took a decisive turn. Through his travels and winter sports, Arno Lippert had made many contacts outside Ibiza. One of them was Udo Niebergall, music producer and co-founder of the successful Eurodance project Captain Jack.

One Sunday afternoon, Arno and Udo ran into each other by chance at Space Ibiza. A few hours later, they moved on together to a finca Udo had rented for his stay.

Curious, Arno asked how one actually found holiday homes like this on Ibiza. Back then, many properties were still rented through classified ads, personal contacts and direct calls to owners. A central point of contact for holiday homes on Ibiza, as we know it today, barely existed. That is exactly where the idea for a dedicated holiday home agency was born.
