Arno Lippert, CEO and Founder of Ibiza Haus, arrived on the island in 1995 and immediately fell in love with the breathtaking beauty and unique charm of Ibiza. Raised in the hospitality industry and with a degree in business management specializing in the hotel and restaurant industry, Arno had already gained extensive experience in both gastronomy and hotel management. However, the desire for new challenges and the indescribable sense of freedom that Ibiza offered him led him to take the leap and dedicate himself fully to tourism and excursion businesses.

In 1997, the idea of starting his own property rental service on Ibiza was born — focusing on vacation homes that brought guests closer to the true soul of the island. At first, however, finding suitable vacation homes proved difficult. As a "nobody" on the island, Arno didn't have his own properties available, so in 1999, he began renting properties through a local agency in Santa Eulalia and then subletting them.

Slowly but surely, word spread that Arno operated a reliable property rental service, and more and more guests came directly to him. Particularly the DJs and their friends, who regularly visited the island, were thrilled with Arno's offerings. He soon realized that many of his guests were looking for special experiences. So, he started equipping the homes with DJ equipment to fulfill his clients' wishes and provide them with an unforgettable experience.

The breakthrough came in 2000 when the first Ibiza Haus website went online — a true revolution at the time. Arno had realized that the digital world would play a key role in the growth of his business, and thus began the journey into the future.

Today, Ibiza Haus is more than just a vacation home rental service — it is a brand that stands for excellent service, personalized attention, and authentic Ibiza experiences. Arno Lippert has successfully combined his passion for the island and hospitality into a thriving business with heart and vision. And even though times have changed, the philosophy of Ibiza Haus remains the same: offering guests a home away from home and giving them the unforgettable feeling of being part of the Ibiza family.

A meeting that changed everything

In 1997, the story of Ibiza Haus took a pivotal turn. Arno Lippert, who was still actively snowboarding at the time, had already made many exciting contacts outside of the island. One of these contacts was Udo N., a talented music producer who became internationally known with his project CJ and experienced a major breakthrough in the Eurodance music scene.

It was on a Sunday afternoon at Space Ibiza, one of the trendiest early clubs in the world at the time, when Arno and Udo met by chance. A few hours and several drinks later, the afternoon had long turned into evening, and the party continued — this time in a cozy after-hours atmosphere at a finca that Udo had rented for himself.

Curious as always, Arno took the opportunity to ask Udo how one could rent such exclusive properties. In the 90s, it was still common to look for vacation homes in classifieds, call the owner, and book directly. But Arno discovered that there was no central point for renting vacation homes on Ibiza — and so the idea of starting his own property rental service was born.

At first, his idea was laughed off by friends, but Arno was undeterred. He was convinced of his plan, so he began actively searching for properties that he could rent out. Step by step, the vision grew and began to take shape. Although the beginning wasn’t easy, this spontaneous conversation in a finca led to the founding of Ibiza Haus, which today is known for its top-quality vacation homes and outstanding service.

Just as Arno and Udo met by chance, the encounter had far-reaching consequences, shaping not only Arno's professional future but also providing many guests in Ibiza with unforgettable experiences. Today, Arno looks back proudly on this meeting, which — as often happens in life — unexpectedly set the course for success.
