Beaches & Bays
Ibiza's diversity is reflected in its beaches, bays and coves. Explore Eivissa's city beaches with their historic backdrop, Sant Josep's hidden natural coves, Sant Antoni's lively coastlines, Santa Eulària's relaxed beach promenades, or Sant Joan's pristine rural beaches. Each region offers unique coastal experiences.

The Beaches - A Natural Heritage for All!
The beaches of Ibiza and Formentera captivate with crystal-clear waters and stunning natural surroundings. To preserve this valuable heritage for ourselves and future generations, we kindly ask you to follow these simple rules.
Please - Use Ashtrays!
Did you know that cigarette butts can take up to 25 years to decompose? They can release toxic substances into the sea, endangering the lives of fish, turtles, and birds, and can cause fires. Please help avoid these dangers by disposing of your cigarette butts responsibly.
Please - Take Your Trash With You!
Do not leave any trash on the beach or in the dunes. Trash damages the delicate ecosystem and pollutes the natural beauty of the beaches. There are no cleaning teams to pick up your litter.
Please - No Dogs on the Beach (Summer)!
Dogs are legally banned from beaches in the summer (with hefty fines). Free-roaming dogs pose a threat to protected bird species and small animals, damage fragile dune vegetation, and leave unsanitary waste. Keep the calas and beaches clean and safe for all visitors. We recommend checking in advance which beaches allow dogs for swimming.
