The Ibiza Light Festival, a fascinating blend of art, culture, and cutting-edge technology, enthusiastically celebrates its seventh edition in the breathtaking setting of Dalt Vila. Dalt Vila, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, provides the impressive Baluarte de Santa Lucia as a unique main stage for this inspiring festival.

On two evenings in mid-October, the city walls of Dalt Vila, the streets of La Marina, and the port of Ibiza will be transformed into a monumental video and light show.

The Ibiza Light Festival is organized in close collaboration with the Ibiza Association of Artists and Audiovisual Companies, the City Council of Ibiza, and the Consell de Ibiza. It marks the beginning of the autumn cultural program and this year particularly highlights local talent.

The picturesque backdrop of Dalt Vila provides a wonderful setting for a variety of large-scale light installations and interactive performances, created by various visual artists who live and work on the island.

The artists represent a broad range of creative disciplines, including photography, audiovisual art, design, architecture, and painting. Well-known names such as Cesc, Gnomalab, Ruben Cuba, Lilian Jung, Endika, Patxwork, 3D Light, Aladdin Lights, Pedro Comesaña, Necko, Alfonso Losco, and Hypnotica are just a few of the talented artists participating in this festival.

Participation in the event is, as always, completely free of charge and open to all those interested in discovering the fascinating world of the Ibiza Light Festival.

Audiovisual art is a multifaceted form of artistic expression that combines visual and acoustic elements to create an immersive experience. By combining images, videos, animations, light effects, and soundscapes, a unique form of expression is created that engages the senses and evokes emotional responses. This art form can be presented in various contexts, from galleries and museums to live performances, festivals, and digital media. Audiovisual artists often experiment with technology and media to explore new ways of creative expression and expand the boundaries of perception.
